Grace Gillis

Research Assistant

Grace is a first year Master of Public Health student at the University of Ottawa and graduate of the Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences program with the Population and Public Health option. She completed her Honours project with the OUTLIVE Lab, conducting a media analysis of the framing of food marketing regulations by Canadian news sources. Grace has previously worked with the Marketed Health Products Directorate at Health Canada. Currently, Grace works as a research assistant with the OUTLIVE Lab, supporting a number of projects examining children’s exposure to food marketing in various media/settings and looking at children’s privacy while using food company apps.
